ECE Training Calendar
The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

Webinar: Physical Activity in ECE Settings while Distancing

FreeFYI… CalFresh Healthy Living is offering a webinar on Thursday, Aug. 27, 10-11:30 am to share ideas on how to implement physical activity in ECE settings during COVID-19.
This webinar will include Children’s Council, San Francisco sharing about ways they have implemented physical activity while meeting
physical distancing guidelines, and modification ideas from Dr. Diane Craft. We will also share on ECE physical activity resources, such as the ECE PA Toolkit, and how certain activities in the resources can be modified to support physical activity efforts while physical distancing. This training is best suited for Local Implementing Agencies and/or their subcontractors that support or plan to support physical activity in ECE settings.
