ECE Training Calendar
The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

Webinar: Re-opening with Care Under COVID Guidelines

$30Are you planning to reopen your child care program or have you already opened your program under the latest guidelines which require smaller group size? Are you feeling that a connection to community would be helpful at this point, to guide you and give you hope that reopening can be successful and wonderful? We encourage you to consider joining our virtual event: Reopening with Care: A slideshow with Live Q&A. This slide show was created and is hosted by program directors from our model site, The Child Educational Center in La Canada CA. You may just find that it is what you really need at this time when reopening is vital. The slide show will walk you through a typical day at the CEC from the greeting and sanitizing station to the wonderful small spaces created for each child indoors as well as great ways to provide healthy and active opportunities in the natural outdoor classroom. Be prepared to be inspired and leave with hope in your heart for creating new spaces for all children in your care.
