The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP
Participants of this seminar will have an opportunity to learn why caregiving routines are important opportunities to form close, caring relationships with each child, explore the practice of primary care and individualized care as they relate to carrying out daily routines with intentionality and sensitivity, and strengthen the ability to practice caregiving strategies that are consistent with the family practices and supports the child’s sense of self. Understand why caregiving routines are important opportunities to form close, caring relationships with each child.
Event time 8:30-10:30 a.m. with a break from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and will resume 11:30-1:30 p.m.
