The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

Inclusion Works! (2nd Edition) is a new CDE Guide Creating Child Care Programs that Promote Belonging for Children with Disabilities
Inclusion Works! is updated with new information and is an essential guide for anyone providing child care from birth to twelve years old. It provides successful strategies that promote inclusion and belonging for all children.

A series of six recorded sessions between October and April to view at your leisure one-week prior to the mandatory Zoom discussion.
One registration for all six sessions.
Each recorded session will cover 1-2 chapters of the new edition (approx. one hr). You must attend the follow up Zoom session (see dates above) to receive credit for viewing the recorded training (also approx. one hour).
