ECE Training Calendar
The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

CPIN: Inclusion Works!

Join Megan Gretona of CPIN as she explores Inclusion Works!
Inclusion Works! (Second Edition) is a CDE guide for creating child care programs that promote belonging and inclusion for all children including those with disabilities.
Date: Wednesday, January 29, 2025
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Virtual Session via Zoom
This interactive training will include:
- Define inclusive practice, describe collaboration, and share practical strategies.
- Discuss the intended use in child care settings for children birth through age 12 years.
- Review resources included in appendices as well as weblinks on the MAP to Inclusion and Belonging website.
Audience: ECE Teachers and Administrators, Special Education Staff, TK/K Educators
Participants will receive prerequisite work to be completed before training.
