ECE Training Calendar
The Community Calendars Project is the result of a collaborative effort of First 5 Santa Barbara County, the Child Care Planning Council of Santa Barbara County and various other early care and education partners who are committed to creating a “one-stop shop” for professional development activities that support the local early care workforce.
This calendar includes training, conferences, workshops, learning communities, events, and networking opportunities open to the early care and education community.

CCLD/SPED Regulation Meeting
November 14, 2022 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
We are honored to welcome Shoghig Khadarian from Community Care Licensing who is the Child Care Advocate for the San Luis Obispo/Santa Barbara/Ventura/Los Angeles region. In addition, Adriana Hernandez who is the Santa Barbara County Regional Manager will also be joining our session to provide county specific support. This will be a great opportunity for our special education partners to better understand the regulations preschool programs are required to follow and how that may impact special education and preschool inclusion.
*A follow up support session will also be available to answer any program specific questions that may come up based on the information shared. This informal meeting will take place Tuesday, November 29th from 2:30 – 3:30.*
In this meeting, we will cover the following items:
● Title 22 regulations overview (why licensed preschools do what they do)
● How certain regulations can impact special education staff working in a licensed preschool program.
● Question and answer time
