How Ratings Are Earned

To earn a rating through Quality Counts, a program will:

1. Submit an application
2. Work with a Quality Coach
3. Create a Quality Improvement Plan with your Coach
4. Implement new tools and systems to support your quality improvements
5. Gather program documentation for rating
6. Receive independent CLASS and ERS assessments
7. Receive a child file review to verify documentation collected and self-reported practices
8. Receive your quality rating!
